What to Expect at the Winter Park Spring Bash and Splash

The Winter Park Spring Bash and Splash is the resort's annual end-of-season celebration. It is all about soaking up the warmer weather, shedding a few winter layers, and enjoying the unique mountain culture that makes Winter Park so special. Throughout the entire series, you’ll find live music, après-ski parties, and plenty of chances to relax in the sun between runs. Whether you’re there for the high-energy events, the soft spring skiing, or just the lively base area atmosphere, it is undeniably one of the best times of year to be at the resort.

2026 Event Lineup: Music, Competition, and Spring Skiing Vibes

March 28 – The Big Wonderful Beerfest & Bluegrass

Kick things off with live bluegrass music, craft beer tastings from over 40 local vendors, and a lively base village atmosphere. It’s one of the most popular spring events, perfectly blending mountain views with local brews and live entertainment.

March 28 – Ski for NSCD

This incredible fundraiser benefits the National Sports Center for the Disabled and features on-mountain challenges, costume contests, a massive après-ski party, and more. Sojourn is a proud sponsor of this event, and our team will be there!

Did you know? The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) was founded right here at Winter Park in 1970. What started as a single ski lesson for 23 children with amputations has grown into one of the largest therapeutic recreation agencies in the world, helping over 3,000 children and adults with disabilities each year! April 4 – Poker Run on the Mountain

Cruise the slopes while collecting cards to build a winning poker hand! This fun, all-level event is a great excuse to explore different parts of the mountain and enjoy a playful, family-friendly competition.

• Time: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Final call to collect cards at 2:00 PM)

• Awards: 2:30 PM at the base

April 5 - Easter Egg Hunt

Bring the kids for a fun, festive morning at the resort base!

• Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• Cost: Free event at the base of Winter Park

April 11–12 – Competition & Community Weekend

The final weekend brings high-energy events and strong community vibes. Expect big tricks, great energy, and plenty of cheering crowds! Events include:

• Bucket Banked Slalom: A thrilling snowboard race benefiting the H.O.P.E. Fund.

• Retro Shred-A-Thon: Break out your best 90s neon gear for this fundraiser! Sign up here  

• Meltdown Rail Jam: A massive freestyle competition held on Sunday, April 12th at Snoasis.
